Board met pursuant to adjournment. Roll Called.  Quorum present. D. R. Gould in the Chair.  Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

Report of Commissioners appointed at the last session of the Board of last year presented and read by the Supervisor of Pleasant Valley.

The Committee appointed at the last annual session of the Board of Supervisors to settle all matters and accounts with the Alms House Commissioners of the city of Poughkeepsie, in regard to the division and support of the paupers, respectfully report, that on the 1st day of April last they leased the present property to the city of Poughkeepsie, occupied as an alms house, for the term of seven months, at the sum of seven hundred dollars, to be paid by the whole county.  And we further report, that we received notice from the committee appointed by the Legislature, that they should remove their paupers on the 3d of October to the new county buildings; and that we did in September call on Messrs. Gillespie and Miller, of Orange County, who appraised the personal property at $6,779.80 cents; and that the city received of the same $1,951.09, which is $771.67 cts more than their share.  And we further report, that Messrs. Gillespie and Miller divided the paupers and have transmitted a report of the same to Mr. Jacob B. Jewett, Chariman of the Alms House Commissioners of the city, of which the following is the same.  And we further report, that the growing crops on the ground at the time of the apraisal were divided equally between the city and county, in consideration of which divison the City agreed to release one hundred dollars on the lease of April 1st.  And we further report that the amount due from the City to the County cannot be arrived at until the acounts of the Superintendent are adopted by the present Board.  All of which respectfully submitted.
V. M. TOWNSEND
